Most inspections take around half an hour, depending on the vehicle’s condition and type.
If your vehicle doesn’t pass the first inspection, we’ll explain the problems we’ve identified and provide information about issues that need addressing. Once you’ve made the necessary repairs, you can rebook for a re-inspection. If the vehicle is reinspected within 14 days then you will only be charged a small travel fee, if rebooking outside the 14 day period set by Transport and Main Roads you will require a new inspection.
